My passion for the stories of people's lives has shaped my journey as a therapist, where I dedicate myself to walking alongside individuals facing ADHD, autism, postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and more. My approach to therapy is not just about addressing symptoms—I believe in a holistic healing process that integrates the mind, body, and spirit. I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. I am trained in brain spotting and working towards certification as an ADHD services provider. I am committed to serving individuals of all backgrounds and guiding them toward healing and self-discovery through collaborative work.

We have exciting news about one of our counselors at Crossroads Christian Counseling! Chris Thomas, out of our Hattiesburg office, is starting up a new program through Crossroads Christian Counseling called RE:GROUP.

RE:GROUP is a one-of-a-kind, affordable life recovery program for young men ages 16-18, who are stable and ready to experience hope, healing, and life. RE:GROUP combines various components of other good and successful programs while maintaining its unique touch. RE:GROUP is not just another program. It’s an invitation for you to put in the work and to experience life transformation.

RE:GROUP meets the young men where they are in life, and then through working the 12 Steps, counseling and coaching, personal engagement, character development, personal responsibility, learning, fellowship with others, and sharpening new skills, it moves them forward to experiencing growth, maturity, and a new life.

It is Kimberley’s hope to provide a warm, safe space where you feel comfortable to share your struggles and learn healthy ways of coping. Kimberley considers it an honor to partner with you in your personal journey toward true freedom. She has worked in the mental health community as a licensed therapist since 2007. Kimberley’s main areas of interest and experience are women's issues, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders and complicated grief and loss issues. She also has five years of working with Veterans.

Chris is a Biblical Counselor and Board Certified Pastoral Counselor. Chris is a lifelong resident of Hattiesburg, MS, and by nature, a friendly and simple person. His insecurities and experiences from childhood and adolescence fueled his early-in-life and present passion for helping people experience transformation, significance, and purpose. Once Chris began his recovery in 2012, his enthusiasm intensified and expanded to helping men and young men in their recovery journeys. Over his lifetime, Chris has had the privilege of serving others as a student pastor, associate and recovery pastor, pastor, volunteer speaker at the Homes of Grace Addiction Recovery Program, probation officer within the juvenile justice system, and guest speaker at various venues.
