Our Story
In September of 2016, my mother and I came up with idea to make and sell wreaths to help out with the expense of my children's field trips. Little did we know that we would be making and selling 31 pumpkin wreaths. When fall was over, we decided to offer Christmas wreaths. She and I, along with my daughters, all share a love of creating things and being crafty. I should also mention that my husband is a perfectionist and can make pretty much anything. So we talked him into joining in on our crafting adventure.
In January of 2017, I realized that we had made almost enough to cover my children's trips, but I was enjoying crafting with my family so much and I couldn't wait to make some beautiful winter wreaths. So I continued designing and selling. At this time, the Lord revealed to me that a lot of people are in the same situation I was in, needing extra cash for many reasons. While trying to raise my funds, the Lord put people in my path that are raising money for adoption, mission trips, medical expense and more. I know that the Lord has put it on my heart to start this small online business and to reach out to other businesses to join me in giving back to our community.
Each time we sell an item, a percent will be given to someone who has a need. My prayer is that other small business owners will join us and together we can make a difference in our community and in the lives of others.
Update: In 2018, the Lord provided a way for me to become a stay at home mom again. He answered the desires of my heart, and for that I am so thankful. This allowed to me to have time for baking again, which I dearly love. I began baking and decorating cakes in 2004, but had to give it up when I took a full-time job in 2009. Now that I’m home again, I have pulled out those pans and decorating supplies back out and I’m happily offering cakes and cupcakes again. :)
