Kindred Hands Whether it’s perfecting a baked good or designing a handmade craft, I love creating!! Also, I try to donate and give to others as much as possible.

You’ll be happy to know that is done through your purchases. In September of 2016, my mother and I came up with idea to make and sell wreaths to help out with the expense of my children's field trips. Little did we know that we would be making and selling 31 pumpkin wreaths. When fall was over, we decided to offer Christmas wreaths. She and I, along with my daughters, all share a love of creating

things and being crafty. I should also mention that my husband is a perfectionist and can make pretty much anything. So we talked him into joining in on our crafting adventure. In January of 2017, I realized that we had made almost enough to cover my children's trips, but I was enjoying crafting with my family so much and I couldn't wait to make some beautiful winter wreaths. So I continued designing and selling. At this time, the Lord revealed to me that a lot of people are in the same situation I was in, needing extra cash for many reasons. While trying to raise my funds, the Lord put people in my path that are raising money for adoption, mission trips, medical expense and more. I know that the Lord has put it on my heart to start this small online business and to reach out to other businesses to join me in giving back to our community. Each time we sell an item, a percent will be given to someone who has a need. My prayer is that other small business owners will join us and together we can make a difference in our community and in the lives of others.

Hey friends! I know you haven’t heard from me in months. I really stepped back from making cakes when COVID-19 hit and since then a lot has changed.
I’m now teaching part time at two schools, plus very involved in ministry so I just don’t have the time like I use to.

Please feel free to check with me and if I’m available, I will be happy to help you out. If not, I have a couple of friends who make amazing cakes that I can send you to.

Did you know that Valentine's Day is only one month away?!?! It's not too soon to start thinking about what type of delicious treats you want to purchase for your loved ones. This year I am offering these extra creamy homemade chocolate truffles! It's a chocolate lovers dream!!!🥰
Truffles can be topped with cocoa powder, crushed nuts, coconut or dipped in chocolate or white chocolate with sprinkles.
I will also be offering Oreo balls, peanut butter balls, and brownie truffles.
You can order a dozen of any of these treats or an assortment of treats packaged in an adorable Valentine's box for $20.

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for making 2019 such a wonderful year. I'm am so thankful for every single order and happy that you trust me with your special baking needs.
Last year I added cupcakes and cheesecakes. This year I plan on adding a few more items so continue to check back with me regularly.
These are just a few of the cakes I enjoyed baking for friends and family this year.

I also want to let you know that I am having problems with receiving notifications for my business page on my phone. I have reported it, but it has not been corrected at this time. I will continue to check my messages from my desktop, but you may need to contact me personally if I do not respond right away. Hopefully the problem will be corrected soon.

I loved celebrating my sister and my niece last week! I made this chocolate chocolate chip cake with peanut butter cream cheese icing, chocolate ganache and Reese’s just for them and let me tell you it was so good!!!

Last weekend l had the opportunity to make 3 Oreo cakes that would later be stacked to create a 3 tier Oreo wedding cake. I was a little nervous because I was unable to deliver them and stack them, but the bride had some awesome friends that helped out with this. I also made her 6 dozen cupcakes made up of butter finger, pumpkin and banana pudding flavors. Who says that you have to stick with a traditional wedding cake?!?! 🤷🏻‍♀️😊

Oh y’all it has been a VERY LONG day!!! I started baking a 7am and pulled my last cake out at 11:30. Started decorating shortly after lunch and didn’t finish up until 6:30pm. I just sat down, but I’m so happy with the way everything turned out. I finished up a 3 tier wedding cake, 8 dozen cupcakes and 3 bundt cakes! 🤪
Two dozen of the cupcakes are banana pudding. Just wondering if you’ve tried my banana pudding cake or cupcakes. If you haven’t, you’re missing out. 😀

Now throughout the holidays, all orders will go toward my daughter’s field trip. I guess you could call this our own personal fundraiser. Bella is going to Washington , DC next April and she’s working hard to raise money for it. She even wants to help me in the kitchen and she’s good at it!
So get those holiday orders in!!! Thanksgiving is my busiest week and I really to hate to tell people I can’t fit them in. Here’s just a few items I offer!

Update: In 2018, the Lord provided a way for me to become a stay at home mom again. He answered the desires of my heart, and for that I am so thankful. This allowed to me to have time for baking again, which I dearly love. I began baking and decorating cakes in 2004, but had to give it up when I took a full-time job in 2009. Now that I’m home again, I have pulled out those pans and decorating supplies back out and I’m happily offering cakes and cupcakes again. :)
