degree from Louisiana State University Health Shreveport before completing residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge.

She treats a wide range of psychiatric disorders such as mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD.

Salma has worked in Healthcare for 4 years and has experience in Surgery Center scheduling, coordination, and interaction. She enjoys expanding her knowledge of Mental Healthcare in her role on a daily basis. Her favorite aspect of her role at Trimera is working one on one with Spravato Patients, and getting to know each patient as an individual. One goal in her role as a Medical Office Assistant is to meet patients needs and optimize treatment processes while building relationships that are formed professionally.
In her free time she loves to read books, watch movies and history documentaries, and spend as much time with family as possible. She also loves to learn new things, and broadens her horizons by learning from her co-workers in addition from gaining wisdom from some patients.

Over the next few weeks, we will be introducing our non-clinician staff members. Meet our Care Coordination Supervisor, Alyssa!

Alyssa has been with Trimera Health for 4 years, initially starting out as a medical administrative assistant. Throughout the years, and since moving into her new role as Care Coordination Supervisor, her goal has been to build close relationships with our patients and to help navigate the needs between the clinicians and patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, their dog Tater, as well as being involved in her church community.
