🦁🐒🌿 Happy National Wildlife Day! 🌿🐒🦁

We celebrated with a Wildlife & Wild Times Social and had an absolute blast! 🎉 From tasty food and delicious drinks to wild games like Smack That Fly, Giraffe Toss, Guess That Animal Sound, and a round of Animal Trivia 🦟🦒🎶🧠 — we laughed, danced, and went a little wild ourselves. 💃🕺

To top it all off, a few funny animal friends even stopped by to join the fun 🐾❤️.

Some trivia highlights:
🦒 A giraffe’s tongue can be up to 20 inches long!
🦜 Parrots can live to be over 80 years old.
🐘 Elephants are the only animals that can’t jump (but they sure can dance with us in spirit!).

What a roaring good time celebrating the amazing creatures that make our world so wild and wonderful! 🌍✨

💦🚗✨ Suds & Shine Station = Success! ✨🚗💦

What a day! Our Suds & Shine Station was a wet, wild, and bubbly blast from start to finish. Residents rolled up with their walkers, wheelchairs, electric scooters, and canes, and left with them looking cleaner and shinier than ever. 🦽🚶‍♂️🛵✨

While the suds were flying, the good vibes were too:
🎶 Jammin’ music to keep the fun flowing
😋 Delicious snacks that hit the spot
🥤 Refreshing drinks to cool things down
💙 And of course, plenty of laughter all around!

And the cherry on top? 🍒 Residents even got their very own cute customized Texas license plates for their rides — talk about rolling in style! 🤠✨

The best part? Seeing the smiles as residents watched their wheels get pampered and polished — some even said their rides have never looked this good! 🫧😄

We love creating moments that bring joy, laughter, and a little sparkle to everyday life. Thanks to everyone who joined in and helped make it such a fun-filled day. Can’t wait to do it again! 💦

What a night full of laughter, mystery, and fun! 🎭✨ Our Murder Mystery Dinner was an absolute blast, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you who showed up and brought the energy. 🌴🍹

🌟✨ Employee of the Month Spotlight! ✨🌟

Meet Tewanda Williams – our amazing Sous Chef here at The Reserve of Pearland! 🍳👩🏽‍🍳

Tewanda has been blessing the food industry with her talents for over 25 years (by the Grace of God 🙌). She started her journey as a fast-food cashier and worked her way up to Store Manager at McDonald’s for more than 12 years. From there, she continued to shine in kitchens at Memorial Hermann, Cornerstone Hospital, and more.

Since joining The Reserve of Pearland in May 2022 as a cook, Tewanda’s passion and heart for people have stood out. In January 2024, her dedication was rewarded when she was promoted to Sous Chef. 🎉

Tewanda is more than just a fantastic cook (and yes, her food is DELICIOUS 😋) — she’s a true people person who brings joy to everyone around her. The residents adore her kindness, her smile, and her warmth. 💕

Her personal motto is one we can all live by:
✨ “If I could make one person smile a day, then I would have accomplished what I set out to do.” ✨

Today’s mission: snacks, giggles, and a cart full of “we probably didn’t need that… but couldn’t resist!” From fashion finds to the snack aisle Olympics, our crew shopped like champs and laughed the whole way through. 😂🎯

The real plot twist? On our way out, we met the sweetest new furry friend — a handsome German Shepherd named Max 🐾❤️. Pretty sure he would’ve hopped in the cart if we asked!

Another epic adventure in the books — and yes, we survived the checkout line! 🙌

Today we celebrated in the sweetest way possible… with a Root Bark Float Social! 🍦🥤🐶 Yes, you read that right — root beer floats AND puppy love in one perfect event!

Residents got to enjoy delicious, creamy root beer floats while soaking up some tail-wagging joy from our very special guest, Clark the Therapy Dog! 🐕❤️ Clark brought the smiles, snuggles, and that extra dose of happiness we didn’t even know we needed. His gentle paws and loving heart made this social truly paw-some!

We laughed, we slurped, we wagged — and most importantly, we made some sweet summer memories together. 💕☀️

From August 1–16, we’re hosting a Back-to-School Supply Drive to collect school essentials for our team’s children — and we need YOUR help to fill our BOX BUS with everything they need to succeed! 🚌✨

Today we turned up the heat and the fun with an all-out WATER WAR — balloons flying, buckets splashing, and the real MVPs of the day: the WATER GUNS! 🔫💧

Those sneaky water gun ambushes had everyone running for cover — no one was safe and no one stayed dry 😂 From balloon barrages to water gun showdowns, it was non-stop action and endless laughter!

After all the soaking fun, we chilled out with ice-cold lemonade and some well-earned shade 🍋☀️

🦈🌊 Shark Week at The Reserve at Pearland Was FINtastic! 🌊🦈

We’ve been making waves all week long celebrating Shark Week, and our residents dove right into the fun! 🐠💙

Every single day, we had something special planned—and our residents were hooked! From shark fishing and Pin the Fin on the Shark, to Shark Trivia, Name That Shark, and daily shark facts, crafts, and themed snacks, there was always something exciting happening! 🎣🧠🎯🍪

We kept the adrenaline going with movie nights featuring Jaws and The Meg—because no Shark Week is complete without some thrilling underwater action! 🍿🦈

And the cherry on top? A surprise visit from a very special shark friend who swam in to bring extra smiles and photo ops! 🦈📸💕

Big thanks to our amazing residents and staff for making this week truly unforgettable—it was SHARKtacular from start to finish!
