Every week Kylee works through nearly 100 insurance plans — verifying, updating, and making sure every patient on our schedule has their insurance in place before they ever walk through our door.

"Can I skip the X-rays today?" We hear this one a lot. 😊

And honestly? We get it. Whether it's concern about radiation, the out of pocket cost, or simply feeling like they aren't necessary — it's a completely fair question and we're always happy to talk through it. 💙

Here's what we want you to know:
🦷 Modern dental X-rays use extremely low radiation — we're talking less exposure than a cross-country flight or spending an afternoon in the sun. Technology has come a long way!
🦷 They show us what we simply can't see with the naked eye — cavities hiding between teeth, early bone loss, infections developing silently below the gumline. By the time these show up as pain, the problem is already significant.
🦷 Early detection saves teeth — and money. A small cavity caught on an X-ray today is a simple filling. Left undetected it becomes a root canal, a crown, or worse — a lost tooth.

We never take X-rays just to take them. Every image has a purpose — and that purpose is protecting your smile for the long game. 🦷

Her journey started right here in 2013 at the front desk verifying insurance, and after earning her degrees, she returned to our office in 2020 as a hygienist.

If you’ve ever met McKenzie, you know that passion is a running theme in her life - whether it’s making sure every patient feels comfortable, confident, and cared for in her chair, or setting personal marathon goals in her personal time, she puts all she has into it!

🎵Have some favorite music that you like? We’re happy to stream that while you have treatment.
🥶Hate being cold in a dental office? Blankets are that little bit of warmth and security that no one is ever too old for! Ask us for one while you have treatment and feel yourself relax.
📖Favorite audiobook + your airpods are a great escape while we work! Feel free to pop those airpods in - we won’t mind at all!
