Hola!

Sorry this may be a little long, bear with me as I try to get my email groove.

This first week has been absolutely insane!! I am absolutely amazed at how much my life has changed since getting set apart. I have noticed miracle after miracle. I wasn't too big a fan of online classes, and may have gone a little cross-eyed, but thats ok. The spirit we felt in our class was absolutely phenomenal. The first day at the MTC however was a little bit of a train wreak. I got there all good and dandy and unpacked all of my stuff. Only for us to have our room changed to a completly different building. Let me tell you I don't know how I packed all of that stuff in my bags. It was a struggle trying to repack everything. The new building we were in had no elevator, so Hermana Peterson and I had to lug all 3 of our 50ish pound bags up 3 flights of stairs. Yay for the workout, I am going to be sore in the morning. Anyway I almost got stuck in an elevator door then we were late for class, but other than that its been a blast! We had a devotional with Elder Bednar and we talked about the Character of Christ. We need to turn ourselves outwards and serve others not ourselves. All in all the first week has been amazing! I'll include my favorite miracle I saw this week.

Miracle of the Week
Second day of classes. We are talking about our purpose as missionaries and how wearing Christ's name on us at all times sets us apart from others. An hour after class, my family and I are settling into our booths at top golf. Our server came up to us and said to me "I couldn't help but notice your tag. I'm from Utah." This sparked discussion about her experiences and my calling to serve a mission. I know for a fact that we were put in each other's lives for a reason. Makenzie, thank you so much for talking with us! You helped me cement my testimony, that God always has a hand in our lives, even further. You will always have a special place in my heart.
