Push the weights! But let’s also talk about consistency. You can work hard during your workouts, but if they’re intermittent you won’t see success. 2-3x per week should be the goal. Let’s get it done next week.

It’s not about how you start (fast or slow). It’s all about getting started, building the momentum, and sticking with it. Doing something with half the effort for 6 months is better than doing nothing for 6 months because “I’m not in shape enough to start”.

This group is doing a great job treating their body as a temple. This D-FIT crew averaged 7.8 hours of working out in July. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Great job !
Two workouts a week should be bare minimum. 3-4x/week is recommended. How many hours did you workout in July - strength & cardio? Did you clean your car or house in July? Mow your yard? If so and you’re not cleaning/taking-care-of your body, it’s time to re-prioritize your health to the top. You have to do the work for your health, someone else can’t do it for you.

Health and Fitness is about progress. Not perfection. Take it one step at a time. You don’t climb a mountain with ease. It takes time, effort and mental discipline. When you make it all or nothing, you take away the opportunity to learn what makes you tick along the way. Take it one step at a time. Establish consistency. Then you can push the envelope.

Proud of this group for getting up at 4am to workout at 5am. That is hard to do!
When you do hard things, you can really learn from them. It gives you a chance to develop resilience in hard times. You experience discomfort, but when you face them and keep going you strengthen your ability to endure adversity and builds a foundation to rely on in FUTURE challenges. Doing hard things push you out of your comfort zone and go beyond what you otherwise have told yourself you’d be capable of doing. Once you become capable of doing something once, you build confidence. You do it again and again because of that confidence and belief “I can do hard things”. It empowers you.
