Today was nothing short of extremely overstimulating in the worst way!
😅
Like the kind of day where NOTHING is flowing, everything is irritating, and your nervous system is like “ma’am… please!!!” 🙅🏾‍♀️

And instead of listening to my body, I did what entrepreneurs do….
push through, override, and pretend we’re fine. 😞

Spoiler alert: I was NOT fine!

So I clocked out. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually…
took care of my body & got under my LED light by #. 🚨

Back in my nursing bag… and it feels like home again. 🤍 I’m preparing AM meds for my patient. Triple checking the meds just as I was taught 18 years ago! 📝👌🏾🙌🏾

There’s something deeply full circle about this moment. Serving in a private duty role, caring for someone in the comfort of their home. This is the same level of care I once needed for my first husband from 2009-2014. And now, I get to be that person for someone else. I’m so honored & don’t take the trust placed in my skills and abilities lightly!

Nursing has always been my foundation & total well-being is a love of mine! 💪🏾🫶🏾
It’s where precision, compassion, and clinical judgment meet real human connection. 🫂🤗

And that same standard of care?
It doesn’t stop at the bedside.

It’s the reason behind every recommendation I make.
Every treatment plan.
Every product I formulate.

Because skincare, especially for melanated skin deserves more than trends. It deserves clinical understanding, safety, and intention.
