Huge thank you to and for blessing the community with a viewing of “Chocolate Milk” last night and every one who attended. Not only was the documentary very informative, but it helped us open a dialogue of ways to make help our expecting mothers be informed of the various resources we have in the community. I love when birth workers come together to brainstorm ways to keep the community growing healthy and that is exactly what happened last night. Love and light to all on this Sunday ✌🏾

In other words...Dear expecting mother, I no longer work with doulas because they hinder me from having the labor and delivery that satisfies me and they help you voice your birth wishes. I find that when mother wants to go along with her plan and not mine I find it hard to work with her. If you would like to discuss my birth plan for your labor and delivery more setup an appointment. 😡

Happy Self-care Sunday everyone! This Queen came through with a soul snatching message this morning! I’ve listened to it at least 6 times today, because it aligned with some of my thoughts lately. The way we love others is a reflection of how we love ourselves. This week listen to how you speak about yourself. Is it positive? Are you uplifting yourself? I can tell you from personal experience if you aren’t speaking positive words into thy self, you certainly can’t speak positivity into those around you 💜 Posted • Self love is a courageous,radical act. It takes stepping away from blaming others and taking responsibility for our actions and thoughts that got us where we are. We expect others to treat us well but ... how well are we treating ourselves?

This self-care Sunday post is dedicated to self appreciation! For the past few years I have been cautious about my stretch marks and how they altered my appearance. A few months ago I was honored to be in the presence of the as she welcomed Kylee and I into her shop. She told me that the bead journey is unique for every Queen and where they are in life. I chose an earth tone to represent my strength and ability to evolve through this life. When I got home I realized how bomb the beads looked against my brown skin and how the tree of life resembled my stretch marks. From that point on the beads took on a deeper meaning and I began to embrace my stretch marks for what they truly are...a dope ass road map of my daughter’s journey to this life💜 👑 @ Pearland, Texas
