"Miss Sibyl Susan. Our 8th baby, 3rd In Bloom baby, and our first daughter was born on December 26, 2025 at 3:12pm weighing 9lbs10oz and 20.75in long.

3 days overdue, 5 days longer than any of my previous pregnancies, I woke up that morning feeling like I was going to be pregnant forever. I told my husband and sister I needed some time alone in the bedroom to try to get my head straight. A few minutes later I started having very irregular, mild contractions. Hoping it was the real deal, I stood at the side of my bed swaying back and forth to praying contractions would pick up.

They did, it was the real deal, and Jaymee arrived at 2:30pm while I was laboring calmly laying on my side in bed. Contractions were coming every 3-5 minutes but were still manageable at this point. She checked on the baby and I and then left us to continue to labor without disruption close but out of sight in the living room.

At about 3:05 I was no longer comfortable laying on my side so I got up, leaning into my bed, and started swaying again. Contractions were still 2-3mins apart when I told my husband I started feeling a bit pushy at 3:08. I almost didn't mention it to him because besides contractions still being a little bit apart they weren't crazy painful but the pressure was definitely intensifying. My husband called Jaymee in and I complained my water had still not broken. I barely got those words out of my mouth and my water broke with a huge gush, baby's head immediately crowned, fully came out, and then next contraction she was here. Born directly into my husband's hands. It happened so fast I stood there in disbelief for a minute and when I finally caught my breath I asked if she was indeed a girl... she was!!! My husband and Jaymee then guided her into my arms and got me settled in bed to snuggle with our sweet girl. Pure bliss!

So grateful for another wonderful birthing experience under the magnificent care of the In Bloom team!"

"Looking back on my labor, contractions started around 5:30pm while cooking my other girls dinner on December 3rd. I didn’t put much thought into it as I thought they were braxton hicks. Contractions continued on through our nightly routine of dinner, bath, spend time with daddy, book, then bed but I still was not giving them any thought. About an hour after the girls go to bed (9:30pm) I go to the restroom and there’s a very clear sign that labor is progressing so I proceed to text my best friend but tell her to stay calm because I’m pretty sure it’s false labor (looking back on that though I was very much in denial 😂) after that I try to get some sleep because everyone tells you that's what you should do in early labor, but I just scrolled on my phone till about 11. I was able to fall asleep around that time just to be woken up by having to use the restroom. After getting back in bed and finally getting comfy my water breaks at 12:30am, at this point I’m thinking ohhhh this isn’t false labor… this is real labor! I go clean myself up, wake up my husband up and text my bestfriend that it’s happening. At this point my contractions go from every 7-8 mins apart to every 2-3 mins in a matter of maybe 10 mins! I finally call Jaymee around 1:15am to tell her my water broke and contractions are picking up but that I could still talk through them. After getting off the phone I have 3 contractions on top of each other and have the urge to use the restroom so that’s what I try to do, as I go to leave the restroom I felt my baby descend down and I knew I was about to give birth. I have my husband call Jaymee while my bestfriend friend catches my baby at 1:30am! She weighed 8 pounds even and 20 inches long!"

"Our sweet Elena Lucina arrived exactly on time on December 15th, 2025 at 12:40am weighing 6Ibs & 8oz and measuring 19.5 inches long.

I went into labor the day before around 4pm with mild contractions that were immediately back to back. From there it didn’t take long for my contractions to intensify. I labored for around 8 hours before welcoming our precious girl into the world.

Because of the In Bloom team, we navigated pregnancy, labor & postpartum feeling fully equipped & supported. I could not have dreamed up a better experience for my first pregnancy. We’re already looking forward to being under the care of the In Bloom team for more pregnancies in the future!"

"Charlie Claire Heinzman made her fast debut into the world with a 2.5 hour labor on November 30th weighing 9 lbs 4 oz and measuring 21.5 inches long. 🎀

On November 29th around 9:00 pm, my husband and I were sitting on the couch watching TV when I felt a small gush of water and immediately knew my labor was beginning. I texted Jaymee a heads up right away as excitement and nervous adrenaline set in, knowing I’d soon be meeting my second baby. We finished our show and headed to bed around 9:45 pm, but rest didn’t last long. Within the hour, light cramping turned into steady, intensifying contractions. By 11:20 pm I began timing them, moving between the bathroom and our dark, quiet bedroom—swaying on the birth ball, eyes closed, breathing and vocalizing softly as my body took the lead.

Around 12:30 am, JD woke to the sounds of labor and began timing contractions, quickly realizing how fast things were progressing. As he texted Jaymee and started setting up the birth pool (which would go unused 😂), my contractions shifted and became unmistakably pushy. By 1:10 am, instinct took over. On my hands and knees, I felt her descending and reached back to feel her head—she was coming now. JD rushed to my side, barely having time to take off my pants before catching our daughter himself. In just four powerful pushes, Charlie Claire entered the world at 1:30 in the morning, strong and ready, greeted by her father’s hands and her first cry. Jaymee and Kellie arrived shortly after to deliver the placenta and complete our care, offering calm, thoughtful support as we soaked in the awe of a fast, peaceful, and powerful home birth 🤍"

"On December 16 as dawn was breaking, our fifth baby was born at home, in the water. I woke up in the middle of the night around 1 am in active labor. Our fourth delivery was really fast, so we called Jaymee as soon as we were certain that my labor wasn't going to slow down. I paced and prayed a lot throughout labor and eventually even took a short nap while waking during contractions. Toward the end, I finally was ready to step into the tub and labor our baby down. My husband called our oldest daughter into the room to witness our newest one being born and right as our baby was being delivered, our two boys came in the room too. Our littlest love, Shepherd Eric was finally here and we couldn't be more excited.
We pray that our Shepherd Eric comes to know and love our Good Shepherd, Jesus, and humbly leads others to love Him too. We hope that in every season, whether in the deepest valleys or greenest pastures, that Shepherd turns to Jesus as his true and everlasting peace."

Welcome sweet Lilly!

"When my water started leaking at 6:30am, we thought we would meet our baby in a few hours. But no, instead of laboring throughout the day, daddy and mommy were able to spend the day together. Around 9:00pm Jaymee stopped by the house to check on baby, we were unsure of her position, Jaymee offered to do an internal exam and praise be to God baby was head down. A few minutes after Jaymee left the house my contractions started up, very regularly and intense. My husband filled the pool and around 11:00pm we called the In Bloom crew. Labor progressed very quickly, I felt baby crowning at 12:19am. Jaymee helped me get comfortable and a minute later we welcomed our beautiful Lilly Jean into our family.
Much love to Jaymee, Kellie and the In Bloom team. This was our third baby with In Bloom, we couldn’t be more grateful for their love and guidance through this pregnancy."

"On 10/21 we welcome our second little guy with In Bloom Midwifery, Jude Callum.
Early labor started around 8pm on 10/20 and contractions continued to be 10 minutes apart all night long till about 8 am when active labor started. After two rounds of the Miles Circuit things progressed rather quickly, with Jude being born mere seconds after my water broke at 1427 at 38 + 4 days, weighing in at a whopping 7lbs (so much smaller than his big brother who was 9lbs 8oz).

Jude has been the absolute sweetest little addition to our family and his big brother, Brooks, just can't get enough of him. I can't say enough great things about the women at In Bloom. Jaymee and Kellie are just incredible humans. I'm so thankful to have had their support and guidance for a second go around. Truly could not ask for a more genuine, knowledgeable & supportive team during pregnancy, labor and postpartum."

Congrats sweet family on your precious baby boy!

"This is my third pregnancy but second time going with a midwife. This time the birth would be done at home which was our RV! I felt the contractions at 6:37am and I went back to sleep but they started to get a bit more intense so I called Jaymee. Even though I was generous with the contraction timing I was definitely starting active labor and then I couldn't focus on the call. Since I did the Hypnobirthing classes I was able to apply what I learned with breathing and especially listening to my body during the contractions until I started to feel like bearing down and that's when I knew that my baby was coming and he was coming quick! I got up from the bed and just when I was about to make my way to the birth pool I felt like doing another push and boom I felt his head pop out. I attempted to catch my own baby but he was so slippery! Jaymee and Kellie arrived and they handled everything, helping clean up and checking on my baby boy! We were just a day from moving closer to them but baby had other plans but having them there was a huge relief to us! They are an amazing team and their presence was definitely comforting for us!"

"Our sweet baby girl joined us earth side 11/6/25 at 12:25pm, weighing 6lbs 10oz and measuring 19 inches long.

Contractions began around 11:30pm the night before. I had never experienced them so as they came on I thought I had food poisoning. Intense abdominal pain combined with nausea and vomiting could only be food poisoning! But as the night turned to early morning, the contractions began to get more intense and closer together. I woke my husband around 2am, and he called into work at 3am. I labored in the living room draped over my yoga ball with a tens unit on my back for several hours. Eventually we alerted my doula around 6am for some extra labor support. She arrived around 7am and provided immense support in the form of hip squeezes, rebozo and helping my husband set up the birth pool for the first time. Around 9am I elected to get into the water which felt amazing! I labored in the pool for a couple hours. In that time, Jaymee, Kellie and Victoria arrived. After about an hour of pushing, our daughter was born at 12:25pm. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was intense, exhilarating and filled with love and so much support. Thank you to Jaymee and her team for the incredible antenatal care and helping me have the most fulfilling pregnancy and birth experience. Also special thanks to my amazing doula, Marissa- I could not have made it through those intense contractions without your support!"
