We continue to be open to in-office care with staggered appointments, social distancing, and continuously disinfected surfaces to keep you and your loved ones safe. Face masks are still required in our office.

Non-traditional virtual appointments are available as well, so whichever way we can help you, we will. Please do not let regular checkups lapse and health issues go untreated. They can worsen and lead to other issues later.

For Monday and Tuesday, 11/23-11/24, our Houston office will be open 10 am - 5 pm and our Pearland office will be open by appointments only. Both offices will be closed Wednesday through Sunday, 11/25-11/29.

Getting Kids Ready for School Success

Dear Families,

I, along with other parents, worry about our children's education during this COVID pandemic. No matter the learning option we choose for them, I anticipate they will be using computers, laptops, and tablets much more than ever before. This adds a new level of stress to their eyes. I had quite a few telehealth visits related to digital eye fatigue syndrome during March and April when all students abruptly converted to remote learning. Common symptoms are fluctuations of vision, headaches, frequent blinking and eye rubbing after prolong digital screen use.

Please remember to bring your children in for their eye exams to make sure they have the best vision possible and blue light protective lenses as needed. Many things are uncertain right now, but we can help eliminate stress from digital screens.

Though our doors are temporarily closed due to COVID-19, we want to ensure you have contact lenses. Please click below or TEXT your request to 281-531-9400 so they can be shipped directly to you. You can also visit www.enhanceeyecare.com to order.

Wearing contact lenses is still safe. Proper hand washing is essential. Before applying and removing contact lenses, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water followed by hand drying with unused paper towels. Clean and disinfect and dispose of your contact lenses as prescribed. As always, DAILY DISPOSABLE CONTACT LENSES is the most hygienic way to wear contact lenses. If you want to change your contact lenses to daily disposables during this time, please contact us. Dr. Ton will extend any expiring contact lenses prescription for 3 months. These are tough times, but we are here for you as always!

Our office, which had been opened with limited hours, will be temporarily closed starting April 10. We plan to re-open on May 18, 2020. However, we all know this may change.

Firstly, we want to say we sincerely hope you, your friends and family are healthy during these potentially stressful times.

We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to avoid reducing office hours as the COVID-19 coronavirus impacts our community. We will remain open unless otherwise instructed by local public officials. We are actively screening all our patients and visitors at entry and asking everyone to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before proceeding to check in.

During this outbreak, your appointment is unchanged. If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know in advance so we can reschedule your appointment and have our team help other patients.
