On Saturday, PCVAC hosted a first aid training for Cub Scout Pack 144 and Girl Scout Troop 1397. Members got to learn about what EMTs do and the types of emergencies they respond to. They took a tour of the ambulance and learned how to perform CPR, bandage, splint and help someone who is having an allergic reaction. Special thanks to Troop 1397 for the cookies and hand made cards.

As always, our community is at the forefront of our duties as an agency. This is just one of the many ways that we can help give back… and who knows maybe there is a future EMT in the making

Earlier today PCVAC participated in Hendrick Hudson High School’s Biomedical Career Fair. Students were able to learn more about what we do as EMTs and get an introduction to EMS.

Peekskill EMS works with many surrounding agencies to help provide the best care for our community.

Today our crews have been running non-stop and covered all 14 calls! Special thanks to Paramedic Sarles (aka 75A1) and Paramedic Samson, , and ED staff at Hudson Valley Hospital for all of their extraordinary support during this crazy hot day!
