Beautifully recyclable plates made of leaves - palak paneer - and garlic nan - the ceiling of our restaurant and the papaya tree in view. A 1,000 year old temple - father and son make a beautiful ritual. And a water well - 450year old Chand Baori. Awesome day. On our way to the Taj Mahal.

Happy Valentine’s Day - having an early vday snack on the roof of our Jaisalmer hotel after a day at the bada bagh cenotaphs of prominent maharajis - 16th and 17th century. Wedding season in India - red a sacred color of love, strength and respect. A red sandstone fort in Bikanier A RAT temple where these rodents are fed, cared for and you enter sick or barefooted - pray for what you need and it will be granted. A national Camel research center - saw a baby only 24 hours old. And Chai in a Chaba - masala teaand then the clay cup is discarded. Love love love INDIA.

So from beginning of the morning in Delhi - you cannot believe the congestion to a 6 hour drive to Mandawa - city of art - hevalis (silk trade mansions) lathered with century old frescos - rubble, bulls, motorbikes with villages of people in motion. The tolerance, patience and goodness of the people of India is unsurpassed. Love it.

After 24hrs of travel. Flowered garlands, Abu Dhabi airport, Delhi streets. More soon - gotta go.
