Help Save a Life – A Mom of two kids- Kidney4Marzette
***CONSIDER BEING A KIDNEY DONOR!!!
As many of you know, my sister Marzette has been courageously battling Lupus. Her left kidney was removed years ago due to Pheochromocytoma (a rare adrenal gland tumor), and now her right kidney is in Stage 5 chronic kidney failure.
Marzette is currently awaiting a kidney donor, and we are praying for someone who may be willing to give the gift of life through kidney donation.
In the meantime, we’ve organized a fundraiser to help cover the overwhelming expenses that come with this journey—medical costs (not covered by insurance), travel for treatment, and lost income during recovery. Recovery time for a kidney donor can be 4–6 weeks or longer, so we want to ensure that aftercare and recovery needs are fully supported.
This fundraiser will help 2 Sisters, 2 Different Kinds of Lupus Foundation distribute funds where they’re most needed, providing aftercare and ongoing support throughout this process.
During the fundraiser, there will also be an opportunity to learn more about kidney donation and sign up to see if you may be a match to become a donor. Your willingness to explore this could truly be life-changing for Marzette and our family.
