Spring is the Season of Renewal 🌷

Microneedling supports the body’s natural regenerative processes by stimulating collagen and improving skin texture and tone. When combined with acupuncture it delivers transformative skin results naturally.

Your face is a mirror for the rest of your body, giving clues to how organs are functioning.

Lines and spots on the face reveal significant emotional experiences and/or traumas over our lifetime.

Emotions are meant to move through us and when the face is unable to fully express emotions it can lead to stagnant energy in the body which can effect mental and physical health.

Repressed worry leads to digestive issues.
Repressed anger leads to liver issues.
Unexpressed grief leads to lung weakness.
Suppressed joy leads to heart disharmony.

Microneedling with acupuncture helps your skin by:

🌿 Stimulating natural collagen + elastin
💧 Restoring hydration and glow after the dry winter weather
🌸 Supporting circulation and cellular renewal from within
🕊️ Calming the mind and balancing internal energy (because beauty starts in harmony)
☯️ Acupuncture points to ground and support skin health from within, working on underlying imbalances in our organ systems that then show up on the face

Free your face and age with grace 🖤🤍

Sunday’s Shaoyin Workshop 🤍

So much gratitude to for holding us in such a cozy, welcoming space. There is something really special about the community there — you can feel it the moment you walk in! ✨

In this workshop we explored the Shaoyin relationship — the Heart & Kidney axis in Chinese medicine — the fire and the water within us. It is a deeply spiritual and ancestral conversation, relating to safety, belonging and connection.

At this time of year, when we’re still emerging from winter’s inward Kidney season and beginning to feel the stirring of movement again, tending to this axis is powerful. The Kidneys anchor us. The Heart connects us. When they are in harmony, we feel steady and open at the same time.

In our practice we:

♾️ Moved gently along the Kidney and Heart meridians, grounding through our roots and opening the chest creating space for the Heart qi to circulate

♾️ Worked with breath to soften the nervous system and create warmth in the body

♾️ Stimulated points like Kd 3 (grounding, replenishing) and Pc 6 (calming, regulating the heart)

♾️ Nourished the yin (rest/parasympathetic) aspect of the body allowing us to drop into profound restoration

Late winter asks for conservation and nervous system repair. Many of us are running on empty. Nourishing Kidney energy while keeping the Heart soft helps prevent burnout and supports a smoother transition into spring. This is espically true for this triple fire year! 🔥

Aftercare for this week:
– Keep your low back and feet warm, foot soaks in Epsom salt, apple cider vinegar and ginger
– Massage Kd 3 (between the inner ankle bone and Achilles tendon) before bed
– Press or gently circle Pc 6 (three finger-widths below the wrist crease, inner forearm) when feeling anxious or overstimulated
– Earlier nights if you can
– Warm, mineral-rich foods (broths, beans, root vegetables, black foods), drink extra water!

The work continues in the quiet ways you care for yourself at home.

Thank you to everyone who showed up with such openness. 🤍

If you’d like to go deeper into this work, I’ll be offering more seasonal TCM + yoga immersions soon.

A cold womb contributes to painful periods, clotting, poor implantation, and infertility.

Acupuncture and moxibustion warms the womb, increasing blood flow supporting hormonal balance, ovulation and implantation.

You can prepare the palace for baby at home by keeping feet, lower back and abdomen warm, avoiding ice-cold drinks, eating a warm breakfast, and getting to bed by 10-11 (rest is huge for supporting blood and yin!).

Consistent acupuncture sessions have been shown to significantly increase fertility and healthy menstrual cycles.

If you’re ready to support your body naturally and proactively, book a fertility-focused acupuncture session today. 🖤

Happy Lunar New Year!

Wishing you vibrant health, renewed energy and continued growth 🙏🏻

The year of the Fire Horse symbolizes movement, speed, passion and intensity.

Fire Horse asks for radical independence, big risks and maximum expression.

Without proper self care, the wild energy of the Fire Horse can lead to burn out and depletion.

Fire Horse imbalances leads to insomnia (that over tired wired feeling), emotional volatility, digestive weakness, adrenal fatigue, agitation and restlessness.

Movement without intention will drain your qi.

In this year of blazing intensity, acupuncture will help calm and ground you, protect the body from burnout and help you move with clarity instead of urgency.

Tend the flame, book your session today 🏮

Experience the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine through yoga and acupuncture.

This immersive 90 minute workshop weaves together the wisdom of Chinese medicine with intentional yoga postures, breathwork, and acupuncture to support deep restoration and nervous system regulation. Through slow, mindful movement and deep breathing, we will gently open and balance the body’s meridian pathways—inviting the free flow of qi (energy/prana), releasing stagnation, and cultivating harmony between body and mind. The practice is accessible and meditative, emphasizing internal awareness.

The experience culminates in a deeply nourishing 30-minute savasana, during which acupuncture is offered to further support regulation, relaxation, and integration. As the needles work subtly yet powerfully, the body is invited into a state of profound rest—allowing the benefits of the practice to settle at a cellular level. Participants often leave feeling grounded, spacious, and renewed, with a heightened sense of balance and ease that extends beyond the mat.

No prior experience with yoga or acupuncture is necessary; this workshop is suitable for anyone seeking deep rest, energetic balance, and a reconnection to their natural rhythms.

Today the darkness reaches its fullness. Yin is at its extreme, life energy turns inward, a moment of stillness, rest and conservation. At the deepest yin, the Tao turns. The light does not announce itself. It returns silently, like a seed beneath frozen ground. Do not rush forward. What is meant to grow is already growing, unseen. Stillness is not stagnation; it is gathering. Breathe low and slow.Let warmth collect in the center. Trust the quiet work of the Tao. What has ended may rest. What is beginning does not need your help yet. Remain patient. The days will lengthen on their own.

That post acupuncture glow when everything feels lighter and your nervous system finally exhales.

No, it’s not in your head. Yes, you feel better already.

That immediate relief is your biology doing exactly what it was designed to do.

Acupuncture releases endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine activating the body’s internal analgesics—reducing pain and creating that calm, euphoric feeling many people notice right away.

It shifts the body from fight or flight into parasympathetic (rest and restore) state. This is why you feel deeply relaxed, grounded or even floaty after a session.

Your body already knows how to heal, it just needs someone to listen and give it the right signal 🪡
