We're truly honored to celebrate Social Work Month here at Aveanna! Our Medical Social Workers are the vital link between care and community resources, advocating for our patients and families with a deep understanding of their unique needs. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment make an extraordinary impact on the lives of our patients and on the world around us.

They bring a level of human connection to our care that consistently goes above and beyond. Support can take many forms — providing counseling, connecting families with resources, or assisting with care planning. But often, the most meaningful support comes from simply showing empathy and presence. Our Medical Social Workers see every person as an individual with inherent value, dignity, and worth — and by honoring that, even in the smallest ways, they create lasting impact.
