We are deeply saddened to share the passing of one of our owners, Mr. Billy Jones. Mr. Billy was more than a business leader—he was a guiding presence whose vision, integrity, and commitment helped shape who we are today. As we mourn this loss, we also honor Mr. Billy's legacy and the values he instilled in our company.

Our thoughts are with Mr. Billy's family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our founder, leader, mentor, and friend, Joseph William “Billy” Jones, Jr.

Mr. Billy co-founded Crowne Health Care with a simple but powerful mission — to serve others with compassion, integrity, and excellence. His vision helped build not only a company, but a family dedicated to caring for residents, patients, and communities across Alabama.

For decades, Mr. Billy devoted his life to healthcare, leadership, and service. From his early days as an administrator to founding Crowne Management and Crowne Health Care, his heart was always centered on people. He believed in doing things the right way, supporting others quietly and generously, and creating opportunities that would make a lasting difference.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Billy was a man of deep faith, love for his family, and unwavering commitment to his hometown and the communities he served.

His legacy lives on in every resident cared for, every employee supported, and every life touched through the work we do each day.

We are incredibly grateful for his leadership, his kindness, and the foundation he built for all of us. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Grateful for a week spent investing in the future of therapy 💙

This week was all about connecting with high school students, sharing real-world experiences, and opening the door to what a career in therapy can look like. From answering questions to talking through career paths and possibilities, it was energizing to see the passion and curiosity these young people bring to the table.
