This past week, Founder Michelle Knight spent five days in St. Louis alongside some of the top group practice owners in the country, many of whom she considers trusted colleagues, close friends, and mentors.
Michelle is intentional about placing herself in environments where expectations are high, conversations are honest, and growth is required. If Integrative Health Services is going to continue expanding access and raising the standard of mental health care, leadership must be willing to keep learning.
Not casually. Not occasionally. Consistently.
While there were plenty of laughs and meaningful memories made, the week was also rooted in difficult conversations about what it truly takes to lead well, grow responsibly, and continue raising the bar, not just within one organization, but throughout communities across Alabama.
By attending spaces like this, Michelle continues to grow as a leader and brings that growth back to IHS. It influences how leaders are developed, how clinicians are supported, and how the entire team continues striving toward excellence in care.
The ideas, accountability, and collaboration from this past week will directly shape how Integrative Health Services continues to operate, grow, and serve.
This is not about keeping up.
It is about setting the bar.
At Integrative Health Services, our mission remains steady:
“We bring warmth and compassion. You bring courage and willingness. Together, this is healing.”
Everything we do is grounded in I CARE:
Integrity
Compassionate Communication
Authenticity
Resilience
Empowerment
