Meet Teresa Teer, LICSW-S — Now Seeing Clients at Integrative Health Services!

Teresa Teer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, chronic health conditions, and grief. She also brings extensive expertise in helping clients and caregivers navigate learning and developmental disabilities, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

With degrees from UAB and the University of Alabama, Teresa blends experience with a warm, collaborative approach. She is passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, build effective coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Teresa creates a safe and supportive environment and tailors her work using evidence-based practices, including elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Play Therapy, and more.

Her goal is to empower clients to take an active role in identifying what they want for their lives and the strategies that will help them get there.

Happy Thanksgiving from Integrative Health Services! 🦃🍁

We hope you have a restful and meaningful holiday with those you love. Our office will be closed tomorrow for Thanksgiving, and most of our team will be off on Friday as well.

However, a few therapists have chosen to keep limited appointments open on Friday. If you need anything that day, please email your therapist directly, as our administrative staff will be unavailable.

Integrative Health Services, LLC is excited to introduce our new project. If you find a duck in your community that looks like the ones in the photos then this is what you need to know:

If you found a tiny rubber duck today, it wasn’t by accident.

These ducks are part of Ducks for Hope, a mental-health project started at Integrative Health Services in Pelham, Alabama.

A few years ago, clients began leaving baby ducks around our office as silent messages of support for others who were struggling. That simple gesture grew into a movement to help people feel seen, supported, and less alone—even on days when reaching out feels impossible.

What to Do With Your Duck

✔ Pass it along to someone else
✔ Leave it somewhere for another person to find
✔ Share a photo of its journey with
