🚨 When Even a Respected Theologian Gets It Wrong on Life…
In a recent podcast, N.T. Wright—known for his New Testament scholarship—suggested that abortion might be the “best thing” in cases of deformity, mental health challenges, r**e, or in**st. While he acknowledged it’s not ideal, he also claimed life at conception is too “abstract” to defend.
👉 But here’s the truth:
🧬 Life begins at conception—and that’s not abstract. It’s scientific fact. A unique, unrepeatable human being is created with their own DNA. In fact, scientists have observed a flash of light at the moment of fertilization. That’s right—life literally begins with a spark.
💔 Wright shared a personal story where abortion was advised—but the child was born perfectly healthy. That proves our point: fear should not determine a child’s worth. Every life deserves a chance.
👶 We grieve with those in difficult situations—but the answer is always compassion, not termination. A child conceived in pain is still a child created with purpose. Trauma should never justify ending an innocent life.
📖 As a pregnancy resource center, we stand for life, truth, and hope. God’s Word and God’s design are clear—life is sacred from the very beginning.
In the latest installment of his podcast “Ask N.T. Wright Anything,” the New Testament scholar made statements about abortion that are raising eyebrows among some Christians.
