How can we help support your patients’ pain management needs?

This week, Joel, our Regional Business Manager, and Rachel, one of our Physician Liaisons, had the opportunity to connect with local providers during their “Lunch and Learns.” They shared how Alabama Anesthesiology and Pain Consultants is improving patients’ quality of life through a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates the most up-to-date treatment options.

Earlier in the week, Joel and Rachel enjoyed meeting with Dr. Kevin Heath and Nurse Practitioner Katherine Feazell at RMC Occupational Health and Wellness. On Thursday, they also had the pleasure of meeting with Nurse Practitioner James Miller at American Family Care in Oxford.

A special thank you to Toby at Kress Mercantile for providing fabulous grab-and-go lunch sacks—those delicious chicken salad croissants, pasta salad, and more truly hit the spot!

Last week Joel, our regional business manager and Lisa, one of our physician liaisons, hosted a "Breakfast & Learn" with the Roberta Watts Quality of Life Clinic in Gadsden. The physicians enjoyed sitting down and learning about the most up-to-date treatment options for their patients. For example, Joel spoke about our multidisciplinary approach for pain management which might include spinal cord stimulators, kyphoplasty. peripheral nerve stimulators and so much more. Rise and Shine Round 2 🌞

Joel, our Regional Business Manager and Rachel, one of our Physician Liaisons enjoyed another "Breakfast & Learn" with Nurse Practitioner Tracie Mitchell at Fast Pace Health in Lincoln this week. We discovered that she worked many, many years ago in the operating room with Dr. Matthew Bennett and Shannan Garvey (prior to opening AAAPC) at the old Pell City hospital. 😊

We always love the opportunity to discuss the most up-to-date treatment options in pain management and our multidisciplinary approach to patient care with our collaborating partners. 🩺❤️

Before we close out February, we want to wish a very Happy Birthday to one of our wonderful Nurse Practitioners, Kendall! 🎉

She is someone who brings sunshine into our office every single day and always appeases the physician liaisons for any pictures needed! ☀️ 📸
When she’s not taking the best care of our patients, you can find her soaking up time at the lake or the beach, hanging out with husband, family and friends, loving on her sweet pup Lola, or cheering loud and proud for the Auburn Tigers! 🧡💙
She runs on sunshine, Diet Coke, Auburn football, and Mexican food — and somehow still manages to give 100% to everyone she meets.

Rachel spread a little sweetness this week by sharing a dozen of the prettiest Valentine's Day cakes and some Starbucks treats with several of her referring practices. Lisa put together the cutest baskets filled with all things sweet, with a side of donuts to show our love and appreciation for the trust they place in us to care for their patients' pain management needs.

Today, Rachel and Lisa, our Physician Liaisons, hosted a wonderful Lunch & Learn with Fast Pace Health in Leeds! Joel Bloomston, one of our Regional Business Managers, joined the discussion as we shared how our team plays a vital role in supporting their patients with pain management needs, specifically their Workers Compensation patients.
Our specialized, multidisciplinary approach to treatment planning truly creates a win-win for patients and providers.

A big thank-you to Kress Mercantile in Anniston for the delicious chicken salad croissants, broccoli salad, and German chocolate cupcakes that everyone enjoyed, they loved the Grab and Go! 🍽️✨
