Today we celebrated Renfroe in true Lakeside fashion…with a Pawty!! He had so much fun eating dog safe cake and pup cups! Thank you to everyone that came and special thanks to Archie’s parents for bringing Archie (Renfroe’s brother).

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to St. Simon Peter Episcopal Church for their generous contribution. Proceeds from their Annual Mardi Gras Dinner Dance were presented to Lakeside Hospice, helping us continue our work through our special programs. We are deeply thankful to St. Simon Peter for their continued support and commitment to our mission.

April 19 marked the start of National Volunteer Week, a time to recognize the incredible people who make our work possible.

We truly couldn’t do what we do without our dedicated volunteers. Whether they’re answering phones, supporting families through direct care, or honoring our veterans with certificates, their impact is felt in every corner of our organization. We are deeply grateful for each and every one of them—thank you for all that you do!
To put their generosity into perspective, in 2025, 25 volunteers gave a remarkable total of 1,242.38 hours in service to Lakeside. Their commitment makes a meaningful difference every single day.
