Sheri’s s**t show December 31, 2025.

I came back to work today. 3 weeks after a total knee replacement. Everything was going pretty well…..until 3:40…..tell me why oh why I chose the last day of the year to work. lol

Michael, was his name, called and said he was coming from Oskaloosa. I told him that we close at 4:00 and the only way he would possibly make it is if he had our clear estimated bags. He shows up at 4:07 and I go ahead and let him in. He starts carrying in black bags and asks who was going to count his cans and again I explained to him that we would only estimate what he had. He wasn’t happy and asked me how was I going to do that. I again explained how. He didn’t want to have them estimated so he left.

He then calls on the phone to tell me that I wasted his time by not counting them and why I didn’t tell him we wouldn’t count them. (I did tell him when he called). He then asked if the Pepsi and Coke companies knew what I was doing. I explained that I’m a private business and Coke and Pepsi don’t get to tell me how to run my business. He then told me that I wasted his time and he had 15,000 followers and was going to ruin my business for not counting his cans.

DUDE!! You showed up after we closed! You were told when you called what to expect. Plus! The last time someone decided they were going to ruin my business it led me to 350 new views, 3 new followers, and 2 new out of town business customers.

So Michael! Please go ahead and do what you think is best while you explain that I stayed late to help you and offered to pay you for your containers and didn’t kick you out the minute you decided to be rude to me.

This girl should have stayed home one more day!! 🤣🙄🤪😋

My daughter will be available to take me to physical therapy on Friday, December 19, so we will be open from 8:30-400.

Physical therapy has changed a little bit this week.
Tuesday, December 16, we will close from 9:15 until 11:00.
Friday, December 19, we will be open at 10:00.
Our regular winter hours for the rest of the week are 8:30-4:00.
Thank you for your kindness and support while I recover from my knee replacement.

We will temporarily open at 10:00 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

I require transportation to physical therapy until I am cleared to drive. My husband, Mike, who is also my backup at work, will be driving me. The surgery was successful, so hopefully, this arrangement will be short-term.

Why??????

A 6 foot fluorescent light bulb plus multiple regular size bulbs. Aluminum foil. Empty vegetable cans. Plastic jugs. Dog food bag full of trash. A toilet handle.

You’re an absolute jerk!!!!

FYI It is usually a 16 year old kid or a 69 year old man that cleans this crap up. Thanks for taking time out of their day to clean up your garbage!!

A few years back the Montezuma Food Pantry couldn’t find volunteers to clean out their cage and prepare their containers for us to pick them up. They were going to have to stop using it for donations. We didn’t want to see that happen so we took over cleaning out their cage.

We have came to know how important the container donations are to their fundraising efforts. If you are in Montezuma at this time of need I’m sure they would really appreciate your donations to the cage in front of the Super Valu. If you are closer to Pella please feel free to drop off containers inside and we will get the money to them.

The holidays are coming and they do a phenomenal job helping people. Please help us help them!!
