We had such an amazing visit with my mom—truly the kind of time that fills your heart in a way nothing else can. Somehow, no matter how much time we get together, it never feels like enough. There’s always this quiet ache knowing how deeply we’ll miss her once she’s gone again. Her presence brings a kind of warmth and comfort that’s hard to put into words, and when she leaves, you can feel that space she filled so effortlessly.

While she was here, we held onto every single moment. We laughed, we slowed down, we soaked in the little things that end up meaning the most. These are the memories that stay with you—the kind you replay over and over when you’re missing someone you love so much it hurts.

Now we’re back to counting down the days until we can be together again, holding onto the love and memories we just made. No matter the distance, she’s always a part of us, and we carry her with us in everything we do. 💛

Finally getting around to sharing some exciting news… we have our very first mama-to-be on the farm! 🐐💛

Ruby is expecting, and her due date is sometime later this month—possibly early May (we’re not totally sure on timing 😅).

We tried dropping a little hint with the temporary shelter photos, but life had other plans and we got hit with a wave of unexpected things that delayed sharing the news.

To say we’re excited would be an understatement… but if we’re being honest, there are definitely some nerves too. This will be our very first goat delivery, and we’re stepping into a whole new chapter.

We can’t wait to take you all along for the journey 🤍

Hamsteak has entered his zoomies era and there is absolutely no stopping him 😂🐷💨
One minute he’s sweet and snuggly, the next he’s doing full-speed laps like he’s training for the Piggy Olympics. Farm life = never a dull moment.

I had just put them all back after their first escape… and not even a minute later—round two 😂🐥
Safe to say these little ones are settling in very confidently. The great escape: duckling edition was in full swing… hence the brooder upgrade to a bigger pool—no more escapes (for now 😅)

POV: My husband is trying to set up a cozy brooder for our new ducklings… and Hamsteak said “don’t mind if I do” 🐷💦
He worked so hard getting everything just right, and he immediately claimed it as his own personal hangout spot 🤦🏼‍♀️

Honestly, nothing on this farm belongs to who you think it does 😅
