This week is National Therapeutic Recreation Week, a week dedicated to recognizing and raising awareness of the therapeutic programs that could improve the lives of those living with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. From expressive art, to horticulture, to adapted sports, therapeutic recreation is key in the road to healing and recovery.

January 27 is International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust. It also marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the largest extermination camp run by N**i Germany in occupied Poland during World War II.
