The holiday season is fast approaching, starting with Halloween, which is right around the corner! We can’t believe how time flies! And we understand that maintaining your health during the holidays can be a challenge, but it’s important to prioritize self care. Here are five ways to help you stay healthy during the festive season:

1. Balanced eating: by incorporating a protein, complex carb, and healthy fat in every meal, you are less likely to overindulge in processed foods.
2. Stay active: even it’s not your typical routine, get your body moving.
3. Manage stress: check in with yourself every now and then and assess whether you need a 5-10 minute break. You can use these few minutes to breathe, meditate, or do some yoga.
4. Stay hydrated: make it fun by adding natural flavors to your water like lemon, cucumber, mint, etc.
5. Prioritize sleep: aim for a consistent sleep schedule by getting 7-9 hours of sleep per night.

Remember - the holidays are a time for celebration, but they shouldn’t mean sacrificing your health. It’s all about finding the balance that allows you to enjoy the season while taking care of your wellbeing.
