There is nothing more valuable than one’s time so when people give you their time - holy moly, does that mean something BIG.

Deciding to leave Pembroke wasn’t easy. Building this studio has not been easy. Being a small business owner has never been easy. It’s always been about the people and when they show up, cheer you on and give their time you remember why you chose the not-so-easy route.

Cannot wait to see this magical place come together. ✌🏻🫶🏻💪🏻

Happy to report that every seam + every screw has been spackled. Sanding began this weekend + will continue all week. The floor is here but has to wait. Paint will be happening ASAP. 🎨

Things we’ve learned this month…

1. Drywall is heavy even though the label says ‘lite weight.’
2. Studs are not always where they are supposed to be.
3. Sweeping is a great upper body workout.
4. Zoom yoga is still yoga.
5. Chair yoga is the best.
6. Coffee might actually count as a meal?
7. People who bring you food are real life angels.
8. If friends offer you help, take it.
9. 8pm is a perfectly acceptable bed time.
10. Building something yourself is pretty f**king cool.

THIS IS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT!

Processing the last 8 years plus the last 8 weeks is going to take a minute but oh my goodness have we built something spectacular. 🥹

We had such a beautiful final practice and then partied appropriately, of course. 😂

To everyone who wanted to be there with us but couldn’t make it, we missed you! We love you! We felt your awesome energy from miles away.

This place wouldn’t have been possible without all of you. It’s not easy saying goodbye to this chapter but it was made so much sweeter by these wonderful humans.

So much help. So much love. So much encouragement. So many memories.

And more to come. ✌🏻
