🎄 The holidays are right around the corner, and the Jasmine Strong Holiday Toy Drive is officially underway! This amazing event collects new, unwrapped toys for kids spending their holidays in hospitals throughout the Oregon and Washington.

🧸 How you can help: Drop off a new toy at your local Walmart or look for law enforcement collection events in your area. Let's flood the hospitals with joy this year!

Get ready to spread joy this holiday season as the 7th annual Jasmine Strong holiday toy drive launches this weekend in Spokane, WA, College Place, WA, Tacoma, WA, Post Falls, ID, and Coeur d’Alene, ID! Join your community at your local Walmart store to pick out a brand-new toy, drop it in the collection bin, and be part of delivering smiles to the regional children’s hospitals and the Ronald McDonald House.

This program gives local kids a Christmas they’ll never forget – and even more importantly, it creates moments of connection, hope, and trust with the officers who serve our city. Those smiles and that excitement never get old! 🎄🤩

📌Children are nominated through schools
📌Each child is paired with an officer/deputy or trooper
📌Together, they shop, enjoy treats, and celebrate the season of giving

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month! Guardian Care Center serves Umatilla County. Guardian Care is comprised of a board of directors, and (left to right) Taylor (Forensic Interviewer), Celina and April (Advocates) and Marisa (Executive Director). Additionally, Guardian Care works with a Designated Medical Provider (trained to assess child abuse). We love the pinwheels surrounding our fence in support of the mission to prevent child abuse.
