Make sure your home is ready for the cold weather! Here’s a quick winter safety checklist:
• Check carbon monoxide & smoke detectors
• Get your chimney inspected
• Inspect insulation
• Caulk and weather strip doors & windows
• Check your furnace system & vents
• Keep space heaters 3 feet away from drapes, furniture, or bedding

Medicare Open Enrollment is now open from October 15 to December 7. This is the time to review your Medicare health and prescription drug plans, compare options, and make changes for your 2026 coverage.

Private insurance open enrollment is from November 1, 2025 to January 15, 2026. If you need help with private insurance enrollment, please speak with your employer’s benefits clerk.

Recall Notice! A voluntary recall initiated by Abbott, the manufacturer of the FreeStyle Libre 3 and FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems. Abbott has identified that certain sensors may provide inaccurate low glucose readings, which could lead to inappropriate treatment decisions. In rare cases, affected sensors may also pose a battery-related safety risk, including overheating or device malfunction.
We want to emphasize that not all sensors are affected—only those from specific lot numbers identified by Abbott.

📲If patients have not received contact, please reach out to Abbott by calling Abbott Customer Service at 1-833-815-4273 to provide the quantity and serial numbers of their sensors. Abbott will verify whether the sensors are affected and will arrange for free replacement products as needed.
👉Consumers can visit www.FreeStyleCheck.com to see if their sensors are affected and to get a replacement at no charge
👉Abbott has identified and resolved the manufacturing issue related to this device action

📣 SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE IS TODAY! Complete applications must be received by 4 pm (Pacific).
Eligibility for Yellowhawk Scholarship - In order to be considered for the Yellowhawk Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. Must be a CTUIR enrolled tribal member.
2. Must be a current senior in high school, or a current college or university student.
3. Current college or university students must have and maintain a 2.5 grade point average (GPA).
4. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in a healthcare, business, finance, accounting, facilities management, risk management, or a degree that would apply to Yellowhawk operations.
