Our Promise: Youth Cultural & Ecological Awareness 🌿 Youth are invited to join a two-part dip net–making class led by David Wolf Jr. This hands-on class helps youth connect with CTUIR history, culture, and resilience through traditional practices.

NOTICE TO TRIBAL MEMBERS, RESIDENTS, AND THE PUBLIC - Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI – H5)

The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR), in coordination with Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center, is issuing this public health notice to inform the community of recent Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI – H5) activity in Umatilla County, including areas near the CTUIR Reservation.

CTUIR has received notification from the Umatilla County Health Department of an additional backyard poultry outbreak of avian influenza (H5) in the Stanfield area. This is the second backyard poultry outbreak identified in Umatilla County within the past several weeks.
