✨ STUDENT SPOTLIGHT ✨
This month, we’re celebrating the luminous Felicia!
Felicia has been building a beautiful and consistent postpartum yoga practice, and watching her reconnect with her body and breath has been such a gift. Her presence is uplifting and full of light. She embodies what it means to honor where you are, meeting each practice with curiosity, positivity, and a commitment that inspires everyone in the room!
I asked her a few questions about her yoga practice… here’s what she shared:
Q: What brought you to yoga, and what keeps you coming back?
A: What brought me to yoga would be finding a way to challenge myself postpartum. What brings me back is having something to look forward to every week that’s for the betterment of my mind and body.
Q: What’s your favorite pose or moment in class?
A: My favorite pose is triangle, and my favorite moment in class is lying in Savasana at cool down, having a moment of silence to focus on my breath.
Q: What would you say to someone hesitant to try yoga?
A: I would say It’s a practice for yourself, everyone in class is focused on their own practice, and the energy in the room is safe, so give it a try!
Bonus Q: What are 2 words you’d use to describe how you feel after class?
A: 2 words to describe how I feel after class would be “refreshed” and “ready”!
Join Felicia on Wednesday nights in a space built on kindness, community, and moving forward together. 🫶🏽
