Today at Juniper House, our community came together to honor the life of a beloved resident who passed away yesterday.

Our Life Enrichment Coordinator and some of our lovely residents participated in a meaningful butterfly release, a beautiful tribute symbolizing transformation, hope, and remembrance. These butterflies were lovingly cared for from the time they were caterpillars, making the moment even more special and heartfelt.

It was a peaceful opportunity to reflect and celebrate a life that touched many within our Juniper House family. Moments like these remind us of the deep connections formed here and the importance of honoring each individual’s journey with compassion and dignity.

Our thoughts are with the resident’s loved ones, and we are grateful to have shared in their story. 🦋

We were honored to welcome Angie Frantz to Juniper House Assisted Living & Memory Care for her wonderful presentation on Memory Care 101. Angie is incredibly knowledgeable, and it is so clear how passionate she is about the work she does and the people she serves. Her presentation provided valuable insight, practical tools, and meaningful perspective on how we can continue to support those living with memory loss.

Because we are always looking for ways to expand our knowledge and strengthen our commitment to providing the best possible care, we have invited Angie back to present this information to our staff as well. Ongoing education is an important part of our mission, and we are grateful for opportunities like this that help us grow and better serve our residents and their families.

We are so excited and honored to share that Juniper House Assisted Living & Memory Care won the People’s Choice Award for our banquet table at the Pilot Rock First Citizen’s Banquet! 🎉

Our team had so much fun creating this table and bringing it to life. It means so much to have the support and votes from this wonderful community. We feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a special place and to participate in events that celebrate connection, creativity, and community spirit.

Our goal in decorating this year was to shine a light on local Pendleton businesses. Thank you to Pendleton Bakery for the wonderful treats (and for the generous extras!). We’d also like to thank Herbal by Nature, A Taste of Pendleton, and Morningstar Blends. Your products helped us create baskets that everyone seated at our table enjoyed. We are lucky to have such amazing local businesses in our community, and we encourage everyone to check them out and support local!

Thank you to everyone who voted for us and to the organizers for hosting such a fantastic evening. We truly enjoyed being a part of it!

🎉 Happy Employee Appreciation Day! 🎉

Today, our Executive Director and Memory Care Director put their barista skills to the test by making the staff infused Red Bulls and Lotus drinks - they were a huge hit!

To keep the fun going, our amazing team also received some hilarious appreciation certificates. Awards included: Dish Pit Warrior, Call Light Ninja, Mashed Potato Extraordinaire, Memory Care Mind Reader, and Caffeine Powered Care Partner. Needless to say, there were lots of laughs! 😂

We had such a great time celebrating the incredible people who make Juniper House so special. Our team works hard every single day to care for our residents with compassion, patience, and heart, and we are so grateful for each and every one of them.

Enjoy a relaxed, guided painting session (no experience needed!), light refreshments, and great company as we create beautiful artwork together. It’s a wonderful way to connect with residents, meet new friends, and support our vibrant community.
