Due to the hazardous conditions from the ongoing winter storm, Monroe County has declared a state of emergency and travel advisory. Therefore, Penfield Pediatrics will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. An on-call physician will be available by phone for urgent matters. Please be safe and stay warm.

The providers at Penfield Pediatrics are committed to high quality evidence based care for children. We will continue to follow vaccine recommendations which are rooted in science and endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Immunizations for hepatitis A and B, rotavirus, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), flu and meningococcal disease no longer are routinely recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The AAP will continue to make its own recommendations.

In observance of the Christmas holiday, Penfield Pediatrics will be closing early on Wednesday, 12/24/25 and be closed on Thursday, 12/25/25. We will open again on Friday 12/26/25 with limited hours and resume our normal Saturday hours on 12/27/25. For all of our patients and families who celebrate, we wish you a very merry Christmas! 🎅🎄

Penfield Pediatrics holiday lunch snapshots. Our fantastic provider team provided lunch for the staff and we added a side dish of ugly sweater awards, white elephant fun, and paper plates awards! A great time was had by all.

GOBBLE GOBBLE!🍂🍁 Penfield Pediatrics will be closed on Thursday, 11/27/25, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will have abbreviated morning hours on Friday, 11/28/25, and will be closed in the afternoon. We will resume our normal weekend hours on Saturday, 11/29/25. Happy Thanksgiving!

We have been so overwhelmed with the generosity of the donations of nonperishable food items from our patients and families! For those who have not had a chance to make a donation but would like to do so, now is the perfect time with Thanksgiving right around the corner. We plan to keep the box in our waiting room for the foreseeable future. Donations will be given to Foodlink.
