Good Morning-ish! We are back in Rochester after an adventurous but restful, full of stories, and great laughter vacation with Dr Leibowitz and Risa.
All of my undone projects and paper mountain are just where I left them. My crabgrass farm of a lawn (I really tried to w**d and feed that out of existence this year) is too wet to mow … so I squeaked out a little time on the Sunporch preparing to pounce!
My Word of the Day is BIRDS, MAIL AND LAUNDRY! So far my air friends have been fed (feeder and bird baths were empty last night when we returned) and MAIL (bills, junk, and a book that I ordered from Barnes and Nobel) opened which leaves folding the LAUNDRY (all of my shorts were used on trip) to get my day going. I will ease back into reality!

Good Morning! There were no casualties during yesterday’s hike! General Jeffo led us safely through the (well marked and groomed trail) woods without any incidents, or run-ins with wild creatures.
Of course with Jeff and I in the same place … there were many great (some might consider not so great) PUN areas!
Besides being a Word of the Day (all capitals), what is a PUN area - you might ask. Well as Dentists (actually has nothing to do with it), Dr Leibowitz and I are prone to seeing many things as we want … to make fun out of them.
A great example to this was when we came across the large clearing in the third picture … we were Two Dentists ‘Outstanding in our Field’. It takes a certain (twisted) mind to think up that one! Then there was a posted sign of ‘Restoration in Peogress’, (last picture) which to most would indicate that this area of the trail was being updated … to us we knew differently! I immediately assumed the position of a dental patient that need repair and Jeff - the Dentist … so that there would be a Restoration in Progress!
That is why PUN or PUNS are my Word(s) of the Day. No one is safe when Jeff and I are together!

Good Morning! We are still enjoying the fabulous company of Jeff and Risa. Yesterday, they put up with our unnatural interest in sorting through other people’s soon to be cast offs … yes, the dreaded Flee Market! Rhonda can spot one from miles away.
It was only 135 degrees (that may be embellished a bit - but it was hot!). Some of the exotic treasures were outside in that crazy direct sun, while others were in semi-air conditioned comfort of temporary buildings - guess which ones I looked through! Several treatures were found … but they are for another day.
Today’s Word of the Day is HIKING … because the heat has dropped down with a nice little breeze. Jeff (not just because he is Jeffo the Pirate) is our leader for HIKING … his Scouting knowledge comes in super handy keeping ‘someone’ out of trouble with foliage, dangerous areas, and general ‘don’t touch that’ things. You can guess who that ‘someone’ is!
This year I remembered bug spray … where I put it - am not sure (made it a point to purchase the king size from BJ’s before we left) … which I did seem to leave it at home. So we will try the ‘fresh’ Pennsylvania new purchase! I hope to be left alone by the aerial pests enough to take pictures!
So HIKING is my Word of the Day … and it is not just HIKING up my scrubs at the old Toothbarn.

Good Morning! We have been enjoying morning coffee and wonderful conversation. No particular topic - just fun making each other laugh.
Yesterday we enjoyed a trip to GETTYSBURG Pa … well enjoyed is probably the wrong word … I was in awe of the scope of the battle, and overcome with grief for the fallen on both sides. The story of the battle of GETTYSBURG was well told, in both an excellent film in an incredible theater, and with the many placards, and statues around the battlefield. At one point it hit me that where we were was only the center of the battle which rages for miles.
I knew that this would affect me, so I started our journey posing with my friend (and Bills fan) Mr Abraham Lincoln! He loved the hat … not too tall!
At the end of the day we were so fortunate to hear a wonderful playing of Taps by skilled buglers at sundown. Extraordinary!
So GETTYSBURG is my Word of the Day after yesterday’s trip!

Good Morning! We have been ON THE MOVE during our time away. Yesterday we went to Lancaster and visited a Mennonite museum. Amazing to learn how these people came to America and flourished … through hard work and determination!
On the way back to our B and B, we stopped for an early dinner (and ice cream - I don’t think Dr Hodges reads this) … ON THE MOVE!
Today we are going to visit the most famous batttlefield in the United States … sounds like a Word of the Day for tomorrow! Jeff does all of the driving while we are ON THE MOVE so we get there in a reasonable time … or who am I kidding … just get there! With ON THE MOVE being my Word of the Day … it is time to get Moving!

Good Morning! This vacationing Dentist is still enjoying the Peaceful Quiet here. Yesterday, Rhonda and I took a trip to a store that has been a goal for Rhonda for many years - Fabric Mart! Not quite my thing … but Rhonda just lit up … and we were kind of close.
I did a WALK-ABOUT while Rhonda had her shopping adventure. Just a peaceful wandering in the sunshine! So nice!
I added a beautiful sunset picture … to lure you in, but today’s Word of the Day is WALK-ABOUT! Today we head to a farmers market and WALK-ABOUT also!

Good (much later than usual) Morning!
Rhonda and I are visiting with Dr Leibowitz and Risa at a lovely B and B along the Susquehanna (good thing to spell checker).
It is SO PEACEFUL (Word of the Day alert).
Jeffo and I solved most of the world’s problems over coffee much earlier … but we forgot to write them down … so tomorrow may need to be the safe.
For now it just SO PEACEFUL! Of course the paranoia in me wonders if the two guys in the boat (disguised as fisherman) were actually from the ADA wondering why I wasn’t working. Just look at that guy with the tea shirt on and the messy hair … dentist?

Good Morning! As I was working in the backyard, I head the slightest ‘peep’ ‘peep’. Then I thought it may have been a ‘chirp’ ‘chirp’ … so I had to investigate.
Well lo and behold - I have NEW NEIGHBORS! I was given a very nice Bird House by my sweetie a few years ago. Of course it sat in my basement until I found the perfect spot … then sat some more until I figured how to hang it.
Last spring I put the Bird House just where I wanted it- safe for bird families - and where I could check it. With such a tough housing market, I thought interested parties would be flying in from everywhere … but it sat empty all of last year.
Now I have NEW NEIGHBORS and I happily invaded their privacy and took pictures to share. So NEW NEIGHBORS is my Word of the Day! Don’tworry about me being an unscrupulous land lord … they got it on the ‘cheep’ ‘cheep’

Good Morning! Rhonda and I had big fun in Buffalo! The Bills game was fun as always … but CRAZY HOT in the sun. Good thing that Rhonda is smarter than a certain stubborn dentist, and relocated us to non used (it was a preseason game) seats in the shade.
It will be CRAZY HOT here again today … be smarter than a stubborn dentist and stay safe. If you need to be out, be well hydrated and find shade.
My photo is moon over shed when I refilled the feeder. Nice and cool out there at 5:30am … but it will be heating up … so my Word of the Day is CRAZY HOT - be careful out there!

Good Morning! We are in BUFFALO to see the AWESOME BUFFALO BILLS preseason game!
For today it is all about the fun! Rhonda and I came in last night and stayed in a lovely Hampton Inn. We asked the very helpful and pleasant front desk manager (with input from his friends) where to go for a fast dinner. They all agreed on Augie’s in Hamburg … what a fun place with delicious huge burgers! As you can see we sat outside and enjoyed!
Augie’s would be my Word of the Day … but it is AWESOME BUFFALO BILLS time so they win (I hope they do that often this year)

Good Morning! I am just exhausted today … I don’t get it … Tyna does all of My work and Heather and Cami do the computer input stuff. Maybe my eyes are tired from watching them work so hard!
For anyone who ever went to the Crystal Beach amusement park - you will recognize the picture - for those who were not able to … meet Laughing Sal!
Ok … why Laughing Sal? Well, Sal was there to start the fun when you arrive. Do you see the connection? … oh maybe if I told you my Word of the Day, it will help … my Word of the Day is TIM - because my Hero big Bro is coming to the Old Toothbarn today!
So TIM is going to restart my Fun! (and fix the huge complicated issues that I am having with Microsoft 365 (evil update) and emails.
It just gets harder and harder to follow my train of thought … did I mention that I was tired?

Good Morning! I am running a little slow this morning after a late night. A Great Friend who I have known since before I opened my office called yesterday because he broke his front tooth. Well a friend in need … so we decided that an after hours would give us the time we needed. We were right and smiles all around! (Of course I forgot to take pictures).
My late night meant that I did not remember to buy coffee creamer … so I had to get creative. Ice cream for breakfast! - actually just in my coffee (it is delicious).
Are you getting all of this from Heaven MOM? Ha Ha Ha today is MOM’s HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY… or as she used to tell me the anniversary of her 35th BIRTHDAY!
That is why MOM’s HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY is my Word of the Day! I Love you Mom!
