Health Care Center is a non-profit organization showing God's love and compassion by providing free primary medical care to individuals and families without any health insurance at 2 clinic locations. Goals:
To create a welcoming atmosphere
Show compassion and concern
Serve our neighbors in need
Partner with community health care providers and organizations
Achieve fiscal sustainability to insure continuity of care

Who We Are:
The Center will rely on volunteer time and donations of monies, supplies and services. Our Plan:
The cost of the ministry is to be funded by seeking individual and corporate donations, fundraising efforts and applying for grants. Our desire is to serve the unemployed and working low income community who can't afford private health insurance. Basic health care to these individuals who fall through our current system can be provided by a collaborative effort with local care providers doing simple tests without charge and contributing toward the cost of basic medications for treatment. Patients will be encouraged to participate in their health care decisions and to share the responsibility of wellness. You can write a check payable to "SIHCC" and mail it to 11817 Frankstown Rd, Penn Hills PA 15235. Or you can call the clinic and make a credit card donation at 412-310-0062.

The Penn Hills Clinic and the Monroeville clinic are closed this last week in December. There is no clinic in Monroeville on Dec 30 and the Penn Hills clinic is closed on New Year's Day.

The administrative office in Penn Hills will be closed from Dec 31- Jan 2.

The Monroeville clinic is open this Saturday January 3. You can see details about location and hours at www.SheepIncClinic.org

The UPMC Vision Institute and the Community Ophthalmology & Remote Access Program (CORAP) are hosting our first-ever Community Vision Day on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the UPMC Mercy Pavilion (1622 Locust Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219).

This event will provide eye care services for community members, including:

Vision screenings and eye health evaluations

Exams for glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other eye conditions

Referrals for follow-up care, if needed

Assistance with health insurance enrollment for uninsured or underinsured individuals

No insurance or appointment is required, and services will be available for both adults and children.

MONROEVILLE COMMUNITY NETWORK FOOD DRIVE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH

The Monroeville Community Network is coordinating a one-day food drive on Tuesday, November 11. Please join us for the season of giving by helping our neighbors in need. They will accept non-perishable food items at the Monroeville Convention Center parking lot from 11am to 3pm. The donations will be divided among our four local food pantries. Help support and share this message with everyone. Your help will make a difference!

If you can't make it over the Convention Center, donations can also be made at the Cross Roads Food Pantry or the Monroeville Senior Citizens Center.
