Your bloodwork can tell us a lot about whatโ€™s happening in your body! Her doctor wanted to jump to statins for her high cholesterol and metformin for her high glucose. But the real issue is she was under eating protein and not giving her body the proper nutrients to get rid of the glucose in her body, which was causing her cholesterol to rise in order to โ€œprotect herโ€.
