Kapha season is beginning. It’s the accumulation of the qualities of earth and water. Are you feeling sluggish, slow or low?
This is a good time to reacquaint yourself with the old terms for lunch and dinner.
Lunch is dinner and dinner is supper.
So, I’ll back up:
—-Wake before the sunrise.
—-If that’s hard, look at how late you ate dinner the night before.
—-Was your dinner big or late? Look at lunch.
—-Ok this is where we start—-lunch as the biggest meal of the day. Not overly large but put your hands together in a bowl shape. That’s about the portion. And get your big protein at lunch.
—-Dinner is supplemental supper. Light and easy to digest! And in this way sleep can be easier, leading to waking before the sun more possible…..
Ok go make that healthy lunch.
