We’re proud to recognize Dr. Nikhil Thaker, medical director of Radiation Oncology at Capital Health Cancer Center, for his contribution to a groundbreaking publication that advances the safe and effective use of AI in radiation oncology. Dr. Thaker and a national team of experts, including our own Dr. Navid Redjal, Dr. Neena Shetty and Dr. Ajay Choudhri, have introduced RadOncRAG, a novel retrieval-augmented generation framework that significantly improves the performance of large language models on complex radiation oncology benchmarks. Tools like RadOncRAG can help democratize expert-level clinical decision support and offer cost-effective, evidence-grounded assistance to clinicians everywhere.
Capital Health is proud to join leading institutions such as Bayta Systems, University of Arizona, Jefferson Health, Sarah Cannon Research Institute, and St. Luke’s University Health Network in research that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in cancer care.
