Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies South Jersey The Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies (HMHB) Coalitions direct community-based efforts to improve the health of mothers, babies and children in South Jersey.

Operating at the county level, the HMHB Coalitions address local needs by creating local solutions. HMHB Coalitions operate in Atlantic, Burlington, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties and are administered by the Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative. Membership consists of business leaders, clergy persons, educators, social service providers and healthcare professionals, all o

f whom are brought together to promote the health and wellness of pregnant women and families in the counties where they live or work. Their achievements range from organizing county-wide public health fairs to increasing accessibility to public transportation for pregnant women.
