Meet David, a high school senior who is already turning his passion for helping others into a career in care. Through our BAYADA Pediatrics, Towanda, PA office, David recently completed a BAYADA home health aide training class. At the same time, he is earning his Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate through a Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) program — a big commitment for a busy student who is focused on his future.

David chose BAYADA to gain real, hands-on experience caring for individuals in the comfort of their homes. One of his goals is to attend nursing school, and this training is an important step on that journey.

We are proud to support David as he learns, grows, and discovers his calling in nursing. Congratulations, David, and thank you for choosing BAYADA to be part of your story.

Our Advance to LPN Program is now the Advance Through Nursing Program. It's an enhanced program allowing our BAYADA caregivers to advance their careers into a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). Since 2022, we had the honor of supporting about 200 caregivers into advancing through their nursing careers.

Meet Rachelle, the artist behind “Fox in Winter.” She brought this beautiful piece to life during her painting class at The Arc of Washington PA, with the encouragement of her dedicated habilitation technician from our BAYADA Habilitation, Pittsburgh, PA office.

Through habilitation services, Rachelle is building skills, confidence, and creative expression that help her more fully experience the activities she loves. One ordinary morning, a BAYADA home health aide noticed something was “off” with her client. Instead of brushing it aside, she trusted her instincts, took action, and got her to the ER, where a serious UTI was caught and treated early.

Winter can be especially challenging for clients with limited mobility, particularly when snow and ice make it hard to leave home safely. On a recent visit, BAYADA Home Health Aide Edilyn noticed that her client’s driveway was still covered in snow. ❄️

Without hesitation, she reached out to a neighbor to borrow a shovel and got to work clearing the driveway so her client could have peace of mind and receive the care she needed. Edilyn’s story is a powerful reminder of the meaningful difference our caregivers make every day.

We are so grateful for caregivers like Edilyn who go above and beyond for the clients and families we serve. ❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Clinical Manager, Laurie.

She was more than a CM at BAYADA, she was a friend, an inspiration and a bright light in the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her dedication, kindness and unwavering passion for helping others touched every part of her work, from clinical care to volunteer efforts.

She was deeply loved not only by our team, but also by the aides and clients she worked with so closely. Her warmth, compassion, and genuine care made a lasting impact on all.
