I was in the gym 5-6 days a week and nothing ever changed. One shift fixed everything.
For my first two years of menopause I did random on-demand workouts that changed every time I hit play.
I was consistent.
Working hard.
But my body stayed the same.
At some point we have to accept that what worked in our 20s and 30s, isn’t going to have the same result after 40.
The hormonal shifts require a smarter plan.
Here’s what was missing ⬇️
▪️ Showing up alone doesn’t change your body. If the challenge never increases, your body has no reason to look different.
▪️ Working out without progression feels like effort - but goes nowhere. You stay busy, sore, and frustrated..with nothing to show for it.
▪️ Doing something new every week resets your progress, aka - reinforces your plateau. You never get stronger, never build muscle, and stay stuck in the same body.
Once I learned this, everything changed.
My workouts had direction.
My body finally responded.
And results stopped feeling so hard.
