This sweet boy needed to spend a couple extra days in the NICU after a tough delivery (should dystocia) and breathing in meconium. 💙 Meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS) is when a newborn inhales their first stool when they go to take their first breath after being born. Sometimes when this happens, babies need a little extra help breathing. Your nurses/doctor/midwife will suction baby’s airways and give extra oxygen through a face mask/CPAP.

Paige has been a busy bee and supported and loved on another family who welcomed their baby into the world this morning! Babe was not up for waiting and came earlier than planned but this first time Mom and Dad absolutely rocked it and “breezed” through labor welcoming a sweet little boy! Happy Birthday and Congratulations 💕

Strong as a Mother… ! 💪🏾☺️ There are so many benefits to using a traditional rebozo or labor scarf throughout the birth process. It’s the number one tool I use in my bag! This is the Tug-of-War technique. Using a sheet, towel or rebozo, either tied to a birth bar or having a partner hold on to one side, can help the mother push more efficiently by giving her more power.
