One of our favorite events of the year is the Back to School Bash at C.A. Weis Elementary School!

Along with our partners at Children's Home Society of Florida, Escambia County Public Schools and the University of West Florida (to name but a few), we had the honor of helping ensure students from dozens and dozens of families get ahead on their health journey before classes begin. And our mobile dental unit was on hand for cleanings, too.

Don't worry — the kids also had plenty of food and fun to along with all the doctor-type stuff.

Let's do it again next year!

It’s time to kick off the school year with excitement! C.A. Weis Elementary School is thrilled to announce our Back to School Bash—for students and the community for the 2025–2026 school year.

At the Bash, Families Can:
Set up FOCUS accounts for both students and guardians
Get help submitting or locating required registration documents
School Physicals & Immunizations for children ages 3, 4, 5 and 11
Pick up expert tips and resources to start the school year strong!
Backpack supplies while they lasts

If your child will be at least 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025, this is your moment to get registered, connected, and ready for a successful start to kindergarten or a new journey at C.A. Weis!

One of the most important things we can do — not just as a healthcare provider but as members of our community — is help get kids ready for the upcoming school year. And that's exactly what we did today at Moreno Court as part of our ongoing partnership with the Escambia Area Housing Commission.

Basic medical evaluations. Hearing. Blood pressure. (And, yes, those jabby little things that are so important.) And everything else that goes with it.

It's all part of our ongoing mission to make healthcare accessible to everyone.

Thanks to our friends at Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition for braving the pop-up storms today to help bring some much-needed baby supplies to new mothers at our Trinity Pediatrics location.

The Stork Stock initiative is possible thanks to generous donations and community partnerships. Available supplies include pack-and-plays, diapers, baby wipes, bottles, formula, car seats and strollers.

The Healthy Start team will be back at our Jackson Street location on September 12, and at Trinity Pediatrics on September 19.
