We were deeply honored to host the Tour of Honor at Pensacola Naval Air Station, a special event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating veterans from local assisted living facilities. It was a powerful day filled with gratitude, reflection, and heartfelt appreciation for the brave men and women who have served our country.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was watching young Sailors and Marines spend time with these heroes — listening to their stories, learning from their experiences, and escorting them throughout the museum.

At Peoples Hospice & Palliative Care, it is our privilege to serve those who once served us. Supporting veterans and their families is not just part of what we do — it is part of who we are. Seeing these heroes recognized with the dignity and honor they deserve reminds us why our mission matters every single day.

To our veterans: thank you for your sacrifice, your courage, and your service. ❤️🤍💙 It is truly an honor to care for you.

Peoples Health Services fat Tuesday event included a parade with the donut queens at Crestview Rehabilitation Center. The resident population and staff all enjoyed a sweet treat and some fun fellowship.!

💜💛💚Mardi Gras at The Beacon at Gulf Breeze 💜💛💚

Mary-Sue, RN, Clinical Hospice Liaison and Jacklynn, Home Health Account Executive, had the pleasure of attending the Fat Tuesday celebration with their wonderful residents.

Events like this remind us why we love what we do. Supporting our assisted living partners and spending time with the residents is the heart of hospice and home healthcare. It's not just about services, it is about relationships, connection, and being present in the moments that matter.

Hospice bereavement ceremonies are supportive events designed to help staff, families and caregivers honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed while providing emotional support for the bereaved.

JJ Roberts, Hospice Executive Liaison and Chaplain, Gail McGill met with staff and residents offering prayer, words of comfort and support for residents who recently passed away. This was a safe space for attendees to share in their grief and take hold to peace. A memory tree with memories written on white doves was created and displayed as part of the healing process. A beautiful time of remembering and reflecting.
