Who is Lila?
This Bio was recently shared with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Entrepreneurs DPG for a speaking opportunity titled: "Authenticity as Strategy: Thriving Without Losing Yourself."

Writing it made me reflect on the struggles Iโ€™ve faced and the journey that shaped who I am today. Whether I get the opportunity or not, Iโ€™m grateful for this moment of clarity and growth. Sometimes, just pausing to acknowledge your own story is a win in itself.

Lila Cornelio, MPH, RDN is a bilingual wellness consultant and entrepreneur with a unique background in culinary nutrition, plant-based nutrition, public health, sports performance, and culturally inclusive coaching. She specializes in helping professionals and communities cultivate sustainable growth through empowerment and aligned wellness practices.

As a vegetarian athlete, business owner, and public health advocate, Lila bridges the gap between personal healing and professional impact. Raised in a traditional Mexican household while navigating disordered eating within a performance-driven culture, her lived experiences have shaped a compassionate, culturally grounded approach to nutrition and intervention.

Her work has been featured in magazines, radio interviews, and community publications highlighting Latino health and wellness. Her heritage-inspired recipes have been published as part of efforts to make traditional dishes more nourishing without losing their cultural roots. Lila also serves as a chairperson for a local professional organization, volunteers as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and supports cultural and health initiatives in her community through the Krewe.
