Keeping little immune systems strong doesn’t always require big changes — sometimes the everyday basics make the biggest difference:

🛌 Consistent sleep
🥦 Nutrient-dense foods
💧 Hydration throughout the day
🧼 Handwashing (especially after potty time + before eating)
☀️ Fresh air + daily movement + gratitude practice

Start small — one habit at a time.

Strong immunity develops through consistency, not perfection. 💛🍎

Getting back into a routine after a break can feel… a little bumpy. 😅

Transitions take time — and that’s okay. 💛

Slowly bring back:
😴 Consistent sleep schedules
🌙 Calm, predictable evenings
🕒 Mealtime + bedtime rhythms

Kids feel safest when they know what to expect.
Gentle structure + patience = smoother days ahead. 🌿✨

You’re doing great — one day at a time. 💛

Hello everyone! 👋🏼🌿

We’re thrilled to welcome Christie Resmondo, APRN, FNP-C to Grove Health Pediatrics!

Christie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to caring for children and supporting families. She believes kids thrive with holistic care—addressing physical health, emotional well-being, environment, and daily routines—while empowering parents to feel heard and supported.

Outside the office, Christie cherishes family time, cooking sessions (homemade pasta, bread, and even sushi!), caring for her thriving plumeria while dreaming of homegrown produce, spending time outdoors, savoring morning coffee with gratitude reflections, and unwinding at the beach enjoying the sunshine and waves.

She’s now seeing new and existing patients as we thoughtfully expand personalized, relationship-based care with a holistic and integrative approach for kids in our community.

Join us in giving Christie a warm Grove Health Pediatrics welcome! 💛

You don’t need a total overhaul to support your child’s health.
Small, consistent changes — the kind that fit into real life — truly add up over time.

Whether it’s improving sleep routines, adding nourishing foods, spending more time outside, or simply slowing down, progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.

Progress over perfection — always. 🌱

When we care for children, we look beyond symptoms alone.
Health is influenced by many factors including sleep, nutrition, environment, emotional well-being, routines, and family dynamics — all working together.

Whole-child care means considering the full picture and supporting families in a way that feels thoughtful, realistic, and sustainable.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach — and that’s okay. 🌿

Small daily habits can make a huge difference in your child’s health and happiness. 🌱

✨ Prioritize consistent sleep routines!

✨ Encourage daily outdoor play — fresh air and movement help both mood and immunity.

✨ Offer colorful, whole-food meals — protein, fiber, and natural colors keep energy steady and brains sharp.

Every little step adds up to strong, healthy kids.

Which tip will you try first?

Spending just 15–20 minutes outside each day can improve your child’s mood, focus, and even sleep quality.

Encourage your kids to explore the backyard, take a walk, or play at a nearby park.

Fresh air and movement aren’t just fun — they support brain development, immunity, and emotional wellness.

What’s your child’s favorite outdoor activity?

📅 Getting Back on Track After Life Gets Hectic

Life happens. Travel, holidays, illness, school changes—they all throw routines off track. And that’s completely normal! ✨

If your family’s schedule has gotten derailed lately, here are a few simple reminders:

💙 Start small
Bring back just one or two parts of your routine first (maybe bedtime or wake-up time). Wait until it feels steady, then add another piece.

💙 Connection over perfection
If your child is struggling to settle back in, spend extra time with them at bedtime. An extra story or just sitting together can make all the difference. Kids settle best when they feel emotionally safe, not when rules are rigid.

💙 Be patient with the process
It can take several days (or even a week!) to get back on track after a disruption. Small, gentle shifts work better than sudden changes.

You’ve got this! 💪🏼
