NACPM advocates for licensure and integration so CPMs can practice safely and legally in every state. Access to community birth is a maternal health issue.

✨ From student to midwife ✨
It’s such a special feeling when a family comes back for their next catch! I had the honor of catching this family’s first baby as a student midwife, and now, as a licensed midwife, their second.

I’m so proud to have been part of both of their babies’ journeys and deeply touched that this mama sought me out to be there again. What an honor and a blessing to walk alongside each woman’s story, every journey is unique, powerful, and sacred.
