She has worked as a CNA for over 20 years and is certified in Restorative Therapy, a person-centered nursing care designed to improve or maintain the functional ability of residents, so they can achieve their highest level of well-being possible.

Our residents have been enjoying occasional sleepovers with our resident pets. These soft and furry friends have brought excitement to our residents allowing them to care for their dog or cat for the day and give them all the snuggles.

Studies have shown that pet and doll therapy can reignite past feelings and emotions associated with caring for children or pets, promote increased social interaction, provide a calming effect, and facilitate easier sleep for individuals.

Move daily! 💪Yesterday our residents worked with Donna on range of motion exercises.

They participated in chair exercises that focused specifically on lifting legs, shoulders, neck, wrists, and ankles. These exercises are great in that our residents can work at their own pace and comfortability.

Are you a caregiver to a loved one with Alzheimer's/dementia looking for some help during the daytime? The Residence offers Adult Day Services to provide a caring, safe, daytime solution for your loved ones.

Our Adult Day Services program includes monitored care, stimulating activities led by our Memory Care Specialists, social opportunities, two delicious meals, healthy prepared snacks, and more at just $75 a day.
