Our Story
Pathways for Change is a faith-based, non-profit organization focused on changing lives, reducing crime, and building futures. Pathways for Change has been successful in fulfilling this mission by offering a multitude of programs in six key concentrations; education, workforce development, counseling, reintegration services, family support services, and veteran services. PFC is fighting poverty and helping people become the best possible versions of themselves through four main community programs; Men’s Residential Treatment, The Family Center, Women Veteran’s Treatment, and P.A.T.H. Internships.
The Men’s Residential Treatment Program is an addiction recovery and rehabilitation program. The program strives for lifelong results by not solely relying on counseling, but also assisting clients in the other five concentrations that pertain to their lives and continual success outside of the residential program. MRT doubles the success rate in comparison to the average basic incarceration rate, saving Escambia County over $6.5 million over the past 10 years.
The Family Center is a community facility designed to be a central location for anyone seeking a better life. The Family Center offers a variety of services within the six key Concentrations of education, workforce development, counseling, reintegration services, family support services, and veteran services.
The Women Veteran’s Treatment Program is a transition program that is focused on rebuilding and reintegrating. WVT is designed to offer services to women veterans in a safe a secure environment and to provide them with the tools they need to be self-sustaining members of the community.
