Heidi Malone Schaaff is a Certified Audiology Assistant who graduated from the Audiology Assistant Program at Nova Southeastern University.

Originally hailing from Sarasota, Florida, Heidi spent 23 years in Hawaii, where she worked as a Licensed Esthetician and Medical Assistant in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. Upon returning to Florida, she discovered her passion for audiology, a field that she finds deeply rewarding. Heidi is inspired by the profound impact audiology has on patients’ lives, particularly in enhancing communication and preventing cognitive decline. This experience has solidified her commitment to the field, and she is currently pursuing further education in audiology.

In her free time, you can find Heidi enjoying the waves at our beautiful state park protected beaches, where she loves to surf alongside her husband.

While the excitement of the jets soaring overhead is unmatched, the noise levels can reach over 100 decibels — loud enough to cause hearing damage in both adults and children.
