Teen Challenge SuperThrift of Pensacola

Welcome and Thank You for Helping to Put Hope Within Reach in Pensacola, Florida! As a result lives are transformed on a daily basis.

The Pensacola Teen Challenge Men's and Women's Centers have been providing hope for the hopeless and bringing those lost in the darkness of addiction into Christ’s healing light for over 20 years. In a structured environment, our men and women are able to experience the life-changing grace of God and are given the tools to live productively without the need for drugs or alcohol. Our prayer is that SuperThrift will continue to grow as one of the tools God uses to help change lives. Here students gain essential job skills in a retail environment, learn how to develop healthy workplace relationships and build other essential life skills; as SuperThrift generates support for our residential programs. At Super Thrift you will have the opportunity to see some of the faces of the men and women you’ve helped with your generosity. Your continued support helps make the work we do possible. We hope that when you visit us you will feel at home in our store. So from all of us at SuperThrift and Pensacola Teen Challenge, thank you! We look forward to seeing you soon!

My life before Teen Challenge was plagued by addiction. I was in and out of jail, I was an absent father, and I was a thief. I was the image of brokenness. Although I struggled terribly and messed up often, my dad never gave up on me. He knew there was a calling on my life, and even though there were multiple times he had to put boundaries on our relationship, he always prayed for me to be rescued.

God answers prayers! Since enrolling in Teen Challenge, I have surrendered my life to Christ. My relationship with my children and family has been restored. I’m beyond grateful for my father, who would do anything for me, including taking care of my boys and supporting me through my journey to recovery. I look forward to what the future holds because I know that with God, it will be good.

My name is David and I am fifty two years old. I spent my early childhood overseas living a relatively good life. When I came back to the United States I was in a devastating accident. After the accident my life went to a very dark and terrible place, which included drugs and alcohol. During this time I lost both of my parents, my brother, my sanity, and most importantly the relationship I thought I had with the Lord. After coming to Teen Challenge I have truly experienced life transformation, that has not only showed me what a personal relationship with Jesus is, but also to love Him and surrender my will to him. I am a new creation in Christ and the joy I see in my heart, today, I can not explain!
