Here at AHF we want to reassure our patients and community that despite the changes and challenges in the world, there have been no budget cuts to any funding for HIV or HIV Care in our area. The local Ryan White state funding, ADAP, and HIV related programs are not experiencing any cuts or decreases. We are committed to providing the best care for all of our patients, regardless of the ability to pay. If you are experiencing any troubles accessing care please reach out to us at 850-476-3131.

HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day ( ) honors long-term survivors of HIV and increases visibility of their needs, health issues, and journeys. The annual observance on June 5 coincides with the anniversary of the first reported cases of what later became known as AIDS. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported the first cases on June 5, 1981 in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

Today, people are living with HIV and thriving as depicted in our latest advertising campaign. Thanks to decades of successful HIV research and new treatments, people with HIV are living longer, resulting in a growing population of long-term survivors and people who are aging with HIV.

Now everyone living with HIV can be a long term survivor and keep on thriving.
